With the national elections in the rearview mirror, we are seeing a lot of celebrations from the “pro-freedom” crowd these days. After President Trump’s landslide victory and Republicans gaining control of both chambers of Congress, the general consensus seems to be that our worst days are behind us. Some are even declaring victory in the war against deep state corruption – even though the President and the new Congress have yet to be sworn in. For example, when President Trump announced that he was appointing Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to the post of HHS Secretary, the health freedom community rejoiced that Big Pharma’s days of absolute control and immunity were finally over.
The truth is that nothing could be further from the truth. Kennedy has yet to clear the hurdle of Senate confirmation, a hurdle that is anything but certain. Republican control of the Senate improves his odds, no doubt, but it doesn’t hand him the victory. As you know, we are a nonpartisan organization here at We The Patriots USA, and that’s not just because we are required to be such as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It’s also because we don’t swear allegiance to any party, since no party can be fully trusted. Don’t think for a minute that the majority of Republicans in Congress aren’t as heavily influenced by Big Pharma lobbyists as their Democrat colleagues.
And as for the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (NCVIA) that provides vaccine manufacturers with immunity from liability for most vaccine-induced injuries and deaths, neither President Trump nor Kennedy have any authority to repeal it. As an Act of Congress, it can only be repealed by Congress. Good luck.
What about executive orders that will deny funding to schools and other institutions that mandate vaccination? Again, good luck. The minute any such order is issued, there will be immediate legal challenges, and a single injunction from any federal court would swiftly grind it to a halt while it is tied up in litigation for months or even years. And in two years’ time, there will be another national election which could shift the balance of power in Congress.
None of this is to say that there isn’t cause for celebration, or for hope. But to think that all of our problems are solved is incredibly short-sighted and naive. We haven’t even mentioned the massive pushback there will be in states that were not called for President Trump, or where the Governors and/or Attorneys General do not share his vision for America (that’s a ton of states, by the way). Expect things in those places to get even worse.
That’s why now, more than ever before, we cannot become complacent. It’s also why now, more than ever before, we need private organizations like We The Patriots USA to be well-funded, so we can stand at the ready to defend your freedoms in what is truly the last battleground state: the courtroom. We need to make sure that good, Constitutional laws and orders are upheld, while bad ones are struck down. As we begin our countdown to Giving Tuesday and our year-end giving campaign, we ask that you please consider We The Patriots USA when making your yearly tax-deductible contributions. With your support, we can see to it that the hope that is filling the hearts of so many these days is justified and confirmed.
It's far easier to become complacent in the face of a huge electoral win. Thank you for reminding us of that. We must not let our guard down, nor our resistance to evil and tyranny. There is, indeed, still a war against humanity to fight. We are on much better footing to fight this war, with this election's outcome and an incoming administration motivated to make reforms, but we still need to stay active in the fight for our freedoms and unalienable rights, as if our lives depend on it.
I couldnt agree more Brian and team! When we back down and “take it easy” is when we stop fighting the good fight. No matter whose in charge of our country we cant forget everything has to go to court and if trump steps in that’s lovely. However, there are many states still without religious exemptions. We can not sit idle.
Thanks We the patriots usa.
